Filed under: Adventures in Parenting, Emotions, Weird but True, In the NewsI've hit the wall of winter where I'm sick of snow, tired of having to watch for hidden patches of ice and officially OVER the never-ending breathe-stealing cold. I'm tired of wool, tired of polar fleece and am more than ready to put all my heavy coats in storage.
And then I see something in the news like this story of how a couple of 5 and 7 year-olds in Australia wandered through their backyard just in time to see a 16 foot wild python had already half-swallowed their little terrier-Chihuahua mix dog.
